Light the Night at 15. September

World Lymphoma Awareness Day (#WLAD) is nearing on Friday, 15 September 2017 and there will be a global social media campaign with the vision to drive as much awareness, education and information about lymphoma on this day.

Unfortunately there is no “LIGHT THE NIGHT” Event in Thailand, but we can make our own one! So for the first time we want to do this, we should start easy:

Lets take a candle out of our Windows on 15. September for all the people suffering Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, make a picture of your candle and post it on our Facebook Page #fighthodgkins.

Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Awareness Day

15. September is World Lymphoma Awareness Day. Stefan will attend “Miracle is all around” at Central World on 17. September as a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor.

November 2016 he was fighting cancer.

Today he is a inspiration to students in Thailand. Winning Bronze, Gold and a Silver Medal at international Math Olympiads.

Be aware of the signs and symptoms of lymphoma. They will look similar to other less serious illnesses.  They can often be mistaken for flu or fatigue. Symptoms include:

  • Swelling of lymph nodes
  • Fever
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Sweating (often at night)
  • Chills
  • Lack of energy
  • Itching

They may seem small, but when these symptoms persist, contact your doctor!
